Family of 3!!

Hello! My apologizes for not keeping this website up to date. Its been pretty busy the past few months! Since the last time I posted, a sweet Expectant Mother reached out to us and we have created a beautiful relationship. Her and her family are an extension of our family.

Our sweet Baby Boy was born March 7th. We love him so much and we're honored to be his parents. I haven’t shared very much on social media, or publicly for that matter, surrounding the details of our adoption. It’s mainly out of respect for L. This is HIS story, not mine. Everything about this journey has been for him. I didn’t know I could love a little human being so much until I met him.

I’ve seen so much love and selflessness throughout the last nine months. L has so many people who love him unconditionally.

My heart is so full when I think of God’s hand in our experience. He guided us to meet a beautiful young woman and her family. Richard and I feel so blessed to have them as another branch of our family tree. They are wonderful and we love them so much. My testimony of our Savior being in every detail of our life and answering prayers has grown so much.

March 7th was a wonderful day for our family. Meeting L was an experience I’ll never forget. Holding him for the first time was the most amazing feeling. Now, weeks later, seeing him smile and coo at me warms my heart. The night time feedings are hard but I’ll never forget our late night snuggles when it’s just him laying on my chest in the still of night. Feeling his little arms wrap around me as I’m soothing him makes me want time to stand still. The way he melts into me when he needs to be comforted let’s me know that he feels safe and loved.

I love this little boy so much.
